I finally replaced my Vya sweet. It has been a month and a half since a Manhattan. Tonight is going to be delicious.

On a sadder note, I finally tasted my orange peel and vanilla infused Buffalo Trace. I hate it. It is too gimmicky and overpowering. I used half of an orange peel and one vanilla bean for 375 mls. I'm going to try some cocktails with it - maybe that will do the trick.

'83 Gould Campbell. Really nice on a snowy night. Might crack a few walnuts to go with it if I get ambitious.

Great Divide Samurai Rice Ale - sweet and malty with lots of carbonation. Nothing bad about it, nothing memorable either.
