For my foie course, I will have a glass of 2004 Erie Shore Vineyard Vidal Ice Wine (Kyle is getting a bottle of this as a graduation/job landing gift when I see him in December)

For dinner, 2005 Merry Edwards Pinot Noir Tobias Glen.

Then another glass of 2004 Erie Shore Vineyard Vidal Ice Wine for dessert.

Then it'll be the last of Sam Adams Oktoberfest while watching one of the biggest hockey games of the year (Cornell vs. Harvard - lets go red!!!)

First was a nice dram of Lagaluvin 16 with a couple of ice cubes and then followed it with a Macallan 18 with a couple of ice cubes. I found the Laga very interesting and was almost overwhelmed by the smokiness of the whisky but started to enjoy it. I found the Macallan 18 very smooth but kind of blah after a pronounced flavored scotch.

After dinner last night, I made a Rusty Nail with the Mac Sherry Cask from CostCo. Yes, heresy to use a SMS for this. But damn, was it good. Two dashes of Fee Brothers West Indies Orange too.

It is the weekend, and I am too sick to drink. Am thinking that I picked up the swine flu on the train. Have never been even near this sick. People can't cover their mouths when they cough and sneeze. Morons.

my brother got swine flu (but I lucked out and got the shot). His doctor said the worst of the symptoms are at the start. Hope this is the same case for you and the worst is behind.

My girlfriend was babysitting for some family friends and one of the children got swine flu. The doctor diagnosed it early, gave him some tamiflu, and he was back in school in a few days.

I'm tossing them into about everything lately. The West Indies Orange are very good.

Sucks, I feel for ya man. Was flying last week and the person directly behind me coughed a sickly, phlegmy cough the whole trip, didn't cover her mouth once.
