    Yes yes yes. Me lovey the Aviation. I hit up a touch more Violette to get the floral notes and the color. Congrats on finding the Violette, by the way.

    Started this evening with an Aviation with a base of Greylock gin, which is a local Massachusetts number. Well, two Aviations.

    Brought in an '89 Aldo Conterno Barolo Riserva "Gran Bussia" which we drank eating this:

    I started out with a ragoût of roasted foraged mushrooms and a bit of onion.

    About to have desert...

    yum, whole pig's head. I've always thought of the pig's cheek as one of the best parts on the entire animal. Delicious!

    Fuck you one nut... It's decent but there are plenty better than Bulleit... Anyways, better booze = better cocktail, and this is damn good...
