Is gin shippable? I'll send you some. [IMG]

[IMG] Kwilk gave me a link where they will ship. Just waiting for the summer to end now.

oof, gin is my spirit of choice these days. A glass after dinner with a touch of lime will do it for me. I just ran out of my latest handle, any brands I should look out for?

Stopped by Draeger's in San Mateo and picked up Junipero gin and the North Shore gin... now I'm trying to decide which I want to use in a martini.
Very Nice indeed! If your evening allows it, I say try both, a little martini tasting to decide your favorite for that application. I need a bottle of North Shore as well.

I ended up going with the North Shore since I basically spent the weekend drinking Junipero martinis. I would say you can't go wrong with either. [IMG]

Just got back from Guatemala where I soaked in the sun and the Ron Zacapa. Very delicious stuff and very popular there. Almost as popular as Ron Botran. More later...

2005 Scallop Shelf Pinot Noir by Peay. As usual for Peay, very good. Very Burgundian. Ready for another five to six years bottle age easy.

Too many French martinis and wine. Hence my Palin post.

    2006 Liberty School Cab. Meh.
2006 J Lohr Paso Robles Cab. Nice.
2006 Hess Allomi Vineyards Cab. Fabuloso.
2007 Beaulieu Zinfandel. Quite good. Great value.

One trick pony. Tried Woodford Reserve Master Collection and was underwhelmed. Moved on to Noah's Mill, a consistently good bourbon.

The only alcoholic drink I had for 9 days in a row was rum. For some, 9 days on only rum would mean 5 drinks. For others (Pio, Hunts, and really anyone who is reading this post), this means 20 or more. This is especially true while on vacation...with the in-laws. Anyway, with all of that rum tasting, my palate was shocked upon drinking whiskey again. Bourbon became so sour and with such a bitter aftertaste. Even my dear rye seemed harsh when compared to 23 year old Ron Zacapa. I enjoyed my excursion to Centro America; and I loved my rum. But I'm ready to settle back into work, and to settle back into whiskey.

doesn't count if you're not in the city. Buhahahah!!

I'm drinking one big mother of a glass of gin. And as usual, a hint of lime added for good measure.
