Very good, "La Fin du Monde" is also a great brew from Unibroue.

Bombay Saphire and...Fresca, with a bit of lime juice.

    Pretty refreshing, actually.

Last night a few friend were here, and we had a New Holland Brewing sampler pack. Included were The Poet Stout, Cabin Fever Brown Ale, Sundog Amber Ale, Icabod Pumpkin Beer, Mad Hatter IPA, and Full Circle Kolsh. All six were pretty solid offerings, but the Kolsh was an odd addition to a collection consisting of heavier/darker beers.

I like American Honey a lot. Pretty cheap too. Not necessarily a daily drinker like Knob or Bulleit, but it's a nice little drink to switch it up with.

    Just finished a Manhattan,

    4oz Makers
    2 oz Carpano Antiqua
    3 dashes Bitters
    splash Fabbri Cherry syrup
    2 cherries on a pick

I'm not sure what is next.

BTW I had North Shore Distillery Aquavit at a tasting last night. Anyone in the Lake Michigan area should give this a try.

2004 Tiago Grand Cru. This is is blend from the Tiago estate in Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. 80% Malbec and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Alcohol 14.5%. Cellared from a Fall 2007 trip to Buenos Aires...could stand another five years in the cellar for peak drinking, I think. Hard to get outside Argentina.

The alcohol hits you almost like whisky...calms down quickly. A big mouthful.

Egg nog with an extra helping of Eagle Rare 10 year.

Our foster son got the cap he really really wants. A Longhorns cap. [IMG] Hence the extra bourbon.
