This is what I'll be drinking when I get home from work and the gym: Ron Zacapa Centenario 23-year, one of the two best sipping rums I've ever had.

One of few rums I actually enjoy drinking.

The two best rums I've had are both Guatemalan. The other is Zaya Gran Reserva 12-year-old. You really have to try that one if you haven't already. It's more full-bodied and less sweet than the Ron Zacapa 23-year-old, with a nice molasses flavor and a spicy finish. Very complex and enjoyable.

Do you have the misfortune of living in a state with archaic liquor laws? I was finally able to get mine locally, but it seems to be pretty widely available on the interweb.

Not as good as the Sonoma-Cutrer I had the other night, but a solid chard at $8 less.

Haven't had that one yet. I'll give it a try. Looks like it's <$40/750mL. I can do that every once in a while.

Since it isn't intended for consumption in **********tails, one bottle should last you for a good while. At my favorite local store, I can pick up a bottle for only $29.99, which is a fantastic price. The place is the size of a small-to-medium supermarket but stocked with nothing but wine, beer, liquor, and cigars. Very clean and well-lit. I swear the first time I walked in, I heard an angelic choir.

That's what is so awesome about living in da city. I found a great place "Galleria Market" downtown right next to my school. The selection is huge. I drool every day walking by it and seeing the selection.

Hah, glad you know what I'm talking about. I moderate my alcohol intake for health and fitness reasons (so when I drink, I generally drink the good stuff), but even I feel that liquor stores are candy stores for adults.

Velvet Manhattan 2oz Woodford 1 oz Lillet Rouge 0.25 oz Sweet Vermouth 5 drops bitters (something with a cinnamon topnote) I had to resort to Martini and Rossi for Vermouth. I've got Vya Extra Dry, I still need to pick up the Sweet. UPDATE: Just made another using my blood orange bitters instead. Made for an interesting variation.

Sipping on a Bombay Sapphire and Tonic right now. I was starting to feel a little off, like I was going to get sick. Need to nip this in the bud, ASAP.

An old vine grenache from McClaren Vale. I swear, that region makes great wine.
