What are you drinking right now?

    Great fucking scotch. Too many G&Ts wihich led to too many bourbons. Classes start tomorrow, oops. [​IMG]
    It's like burning a log of oak, putting it out in some water, then stick the log in your mouth. I'm having some Jameson smuggled from the factory store, on the rocks. I love me Irish friends.

    +1 Goslings, I believe, trademarked the recipe for awhile. I wouldn't use a 151 because why?
    Negroni here, using my very new very nice Martin Miller gin. Good Stuff!

    Well, this was about 25 years ago for me when the whole point was to get as bombed as possible as quickly as possible. Overproof liquor is helpful for that purpose, but for little else. [​IMG]

    Very close. Substitute "log of oak" for "clump of peat" and you have my vote.

    You are right, forgot the charring. I'm just not a heavy peat guy, nor a heavy iodine guy. This makes Speysides my favorite [​IMG]

    1.5 oz Cadenhead's Green Label Jamaican Rum (10 yr)
    1.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
    0.25 oz Simple Syrup
    0.5 oz Grenadine
    3 dashes Angnostura Bitters
    4-6 oz Club Soda

    I'm still hanging on to the end of summer...

    Speyside is probably my favorite too, mainly because it is quite accessible. But I love the occasional Islay.

    Just got my result for my first bar school evaluation. Turns out that out of the three friends that I've asked (including a guy that made it to the dean's list in law school) and I, I'm the only one that passed it.

    It calls for a drink. Or many of them. I think I'm gonna start by a glass of scotch and we'll see how it goes... It should do wonders for my cold.
