A lil Michter's 10yr because Michter's Monday or whatever the kids say. Actually the kids probably don't say anything about Michter's because they're kids. Whatever.

Michter's 10 year. and when i say "a lil" i really should iterate that "lil" is actually pronounced "double" because what a week today was.

Oh god, is their Fuerte different than Blanco Fuerte? I'll LOL if yes haha
I was just going to ask...
What's the dif between the blanco and blanco fuerte, the hangover severity quotient?
Surely, if you drink enough! As mentioned, 40% v 50%. Much more heat (reminded me of a scotch) on the finish for the first few sips of the Fuerte, I found. More substantial, buttery-ish mouthfeel. Certainly feels more viscous. I actually got more fruitiness as well.

wondering why use such a pricey and good bourbon in a mixed drink which generally takes rye to get the spice?
Blantons is the high rye mashbill for BT, and it’s a much ‘brighter’ bourbon (not overly oaked), so I feel like it matches with the style of a Negroni/boulavardier
