Just ******* around. Modified mezcarita:

2.5 oz mezcal
0.75 oz ancho Reyes
0.5 oz creme de cavao
1.25 oz lime

Surprisingly nice and refreshing, even with my silly garnish.

I had no idea, I actually have some that I could’ve used!

It's a really nice cocktail - equal parts mezcal, lime juice, aperol and yellow chartreuse. There are some versions online which have more mezcal and less aperol/chartreuse but I think the equal parts version is more fun. But I really like chartreuse. :p

This is so good. And that 65.3% doesn't **** around. You don't see much sotol puntas out there.

Kind of funny how the bottle says "Spirits Distilled from Agave" and "100% Agave" when this is a sotol and not made from any agave. :p

For LA/OC folks, HiTime is having a ridiculous sale on Roca Patron 375s - $20 for the Anejo and Repo - usually $45 (Roca is the more artisanal line for Patron, using a tahona wheel& brick ovens instead of an autoclave)

Corn liquor. I saw the bottle and the label and couldn't resist.

It tastes exactly like grilled sweet corn. Which is...good? But weird. Seems like it could be interesting for cocktails but it's a mindbender of a flavor. Maybe instead of curacao in a margarita, or a splash in an Old Fashioned.

It has a much more intense "corn" profile than Mellow Corn.

I have a bottle of that elote. It is beserk. I really love it in Mezcal, as in big rock, 2 oz mezcal, and enough of the elote to sweeten it in an Old Fashioned kind of way. Sometimes I add a squeeze of lime like a Ti Punch.
