How is Barranca's stuff? I've only tried the Ramos and Cortes lines from Mal Bien
Barranca's papalote from agave mixtape #6 was maybe my first mezcal love, so I might be a bit biased. I've only had that and this zacatoro, but they're both really good. I've heard polarizing things about them on online reviews, but I really enjoy the green and peppery notes those two have. Not as clean and "refined" as most NETA offerings or Ramos's stuff, but really good IMO.
There were only 48 bottles of this zacatoro released so pretty jazzed I was able to get my hands on two, especially when a lot of mezcal stores in CA won't ship to NY.
