Driving through Utah last month we stayed on budget and avoided COVID by making drinks in our hotel room. The state run liquor stores had a limited selection of gin and we couldn't find good tonic anywhere so we ran through a couple bottles of Tanq 10 with a case of Spindrift. Since then I've been having fun mixing it with various sparkling water flavors. Last night did a take on a gin mule but used frozen mango instead of ice, mango Bubly, Tanq 10, extra lime, and ginger beer last night. Tonight sipping Botanist by the fire. (We also have beer, wine, and vodka, but I mostly enjoy the gin)

Just wait until you learn about the different distillation methods for rums.... You're going to say: this needs a lightly-aged pot-distilled rum in no time.

What was your grenadine that's a very red drink.

My you Americans have strange tastes.
Beer is good.
Bacon is good.
One good plus on good is two goods.

Actually I think this might work. There is a German tradition of smoked beer and if I had to guess, this will end up tasting more like a smoky and savory beer than a bacon beer.

Rose's grenadine. Made a zombie tonight, a little more bitter and sour than the hurricane with a lot of the same ingredients. Doing a mai tai next.

Get better grenadine.

The trinitario sour is delicious.
