A lot of iodine and something I would describe as cooked evergreen needles. Apparently this distillery has a lot of experimental batches and they always put a lot of charred aspen directly into barrel. There was a common note between the two I tried. I would recommend it.

A bit of a pity this place kinda died out, but if any of you have some unusual tiki recipes that you love, let me know. The selection in Smuggler's Cove is slightly overwhelming, but I've noted down a few and gathered a few more over on /r/cocktails.
Also looking forward to making some of Death & Co's drinks, which I actually haven't until now despite having owned the book for quite a while, so if you have any recs (iirc some of you weren't that big on the book, but still), lmk.
Working with a slightly limited (in some regards) but still pretty good range:

    At this very moment?

I "acquired" the Playboy mug from my father. He was a member of the Playboy Club from the 60s until it folded. I've dined at the Manhattan and Jersey locations as a small child with the family. The bunny ears and cotton tails of the waitresses made me giggle. Ahhhhh youthful innocence...

Went to Death and Co when I was in NY this past December. Don't remember what I had (something with Mezcal?) but it was really good.

Ah yes, I have some unaged Mezcal too. Death & Co do like their Mezcal and Sherry quite a bit iirc.

Have you had a jet pilot? There are jet pilot variations using agave that are super tasty too.
