I hope it's better than what I'm doing -- working late on a draft of a brief due January 2.  I'll probably get home around 11, wait an hour to watch the ball drop on TV, then go to sleep.

Going to what I hope is a pretty casual dinner party (at least I'm dressing that way) with a new female friend. Looking forward to it after a pretty tumultuous year on the personal front.

Remember to give yourself some TLC AC. Maybe a nice botle of champagne to sip while the ball is dropping...We all deserve it, especially on sentimental holidays like this one. Will you be in DC or LA?

I'm joining some friends for a casual evening in. There will be good champagne; beyond that, well, who cares?
