Rayban's "Tortoise Shell" isn't as bright as the one DiCaprio is wearing

I used to own a pair of tortoise wayfarers, and they are like a dark dark brown, not a bright amber like those

Hi!

I've been looking for the same type of sunglasses for over a week now and though I wasn't able to trace the exact type, I DO know what brand it was.

The brand was Céline:

The Céline "Radical" in light tortoise comes closest to the shades used in the movie. I think though the exact type was from another season and is therefore no longer made

If I find one I will let you know!


Note: Funny how a movie in which the main character copies the style of another movie's main character gets us copying the same way.

Sir, No! These aren’t CÉLINE! although they look the similar and those 3 dots are solely for Céline, these sunglasses are from “MOSCOT” Model “HYMEN”.
CÉLINE was solely started for woman’s shoe and then later with clothing. However sunglasses for Celine were only introduced late 2016 or something.

Sorry - they're not Hyman, either. The Moscot Hyman has three rivets in both the front frames and in the temples. Also, Hyman's temples are just a bit lower than the top of the frame, which curves slightly down at the outside; in the DiCaprio picture, the front frames are almost straight across to the temples (hence them being confused for Wayfarers). Finally, the height of Hyman's front frames isn't quite so much as those in the picture.

SO, does anyone have any other ideas? I've been looking for a pair just like his for years.
