I've seen guys with a string of beads like this, which I assume has a bunch of keys on the end. It seems a very Italian style, and indeed these photos are Italian (though from the Kishida Days site). I also thought I remembered seeing a WAYWRN post with them, but I can't find it now.

Anyway, I like the look, so I was wondering...
What is the name for this type of bead chain/key chain?
Is there another purpose for them (I assume it's not a rosary)?
And where can one get them?

When that thing eventually bursts, those beads are going scatter EVERYWHERE.

Hilarity will undoubtedly ensue.

Just looks like a wallet chain made with beads or sequins on a wire or string to me. It could also have a pocketwatch, keys or mobile on the end I guess. Seems like it would be easy enough to make yourself. I think it's a look fraught with peril in more ways than one, though

Possibly a rosary? I think there's a cross hanging near the one in the first picture
