Rajhi, why don't you take you views and go some place else.

You're a poor representative of your county if you talk like that.

how big is France? how big is Denmark? are you sure that Denmark is a "small country" Denmark is a country that is happy with its position in life. it used to be an Empire, it had a few periods when it was very influential, and now it is a marginal country and has no pretense of imposing its way of life on the world. that is why nobody hates the danes. there are a few good reasons for liking the Danes - they really had a resistance to the Germans, but they don't talk about it to much, unlike some other countries that seem to talk about it a lot more about their resistance a lot more than it actually existed....
    Are you kidding me?
Earnest, it is very nice that for a period of 50 years or so, 150 years ago, France was actually an important state. and france has been able to make some very good food over the years, and was home to some very good artists (maybe not actually french, but we will give france points for hosting them). but don't exagurate your importance.
What is the size of Danemark? Reply to my questions about the 3 names

Greenland is a danish possession, so it's land area is several times larger than France's.

    Denmark is 43094 km/2

They also have some ridiculously attractive girls.

I would put France somewhere around 8, but still in the top 10, and ahead of any of the Middle Eastern countries.

Yes, Russia and the US have enormous proven reserves, the US especially so, in the form of shale oils, however, these are not quite as accessible as some of the other countries. The former Soviet Union had the largest oil reserves in the world, and while Russia's are somewhat smaller (as they lost Azerbajan and Georgia) there is the potential for even larger reserves in the Trans-Siberian region that aren't even explored.

Do you really think that Germany have more influence/kudos in the world than France? French is better than Germany for : culture, economy, army (atomic bomb, one of the very best weapon maker), language (more people learning and speaking French), food (no comments needed), movies, fashion, number of tourists... Russia = who would like to live in Russia ? India and China = they are more than 1 billion each, Frech are 62 millions . In 20 years they may become very influent but now they are just third world nations who produce for cheap our goods. Who would like to live in India or China? Japan = who would like to live in Japan? Japan is hated by most of Asian countries and their economy is down. They have no army. They are just ants working like robots. No place for imagination, creativity. The highest rate of suicide in the world. Who praise Japanese? Why is Bush trying to involve French in Iraq? He could take Japanese. Please note that except UK, all of these countries have between +50% and + 2000% more people than France...
