Ralph Lauren Purple Label, Oxxford Sport, Brioni, and Kiton, amongst others make high quality corduroy trousers in my experience. Undoubtedly, other forum members can add to the list from their experience.

STP has had some excellent prices on Lambornes during the last few months. Lamborne makes a great cord. It's all the quality I'll ever need in that style of pant.

I second Lamborne. With layering google checkout and a 20% off code you can get them at around $32 a pair. You wont fid quality english-made pants at that price anywhere else.

I would doubt at that price they are English made.

Maybe an English name but try a sweat shop some where in Asia.

Tag says made in England, and they are great. Retail is ~$160, according to STP. Just because something is on sale for cheap doesn't mean that it's cheaply made.

However, Lambourne is a made-for-STP brand, so they set the price point. Having said that, their cords seem very nice. I'm about to return a pair because I ordered olive, thinking olive green, and they sent "drab fawn", a medium brown.

Incotex (and Zegna labeled Inco) are very good. They are unbeatable if you can some from edmorel at a discount.

I agree with the Incotex. The one's I got from Ed are among my favorite trousers (and I'm still trying to find the flaw that caused him to give them to me at such a ridiculous price).

I also like the Lambournes at STP. You'll have a very, very tough time finding cords with this quality of construction and fabric at the STP price (with discounts).

I also really like the Valentini horiztonal cords.
