What are some best ways to style men's denim jacket?

I am not a big fan of denim clothing at all. The reason I am asking tips & advice on wearing denim jacket is because of my brother. He got a denim jacket on his 20th birthday but he is not able to figure it out with what combination it will give its best look. to solve his concern I putted the question here. Please share all your tips related men's denim clothing.

More of a workwear question but I’ll have a go.

Trousers: Casual tan chinos or caramel wide-wale cords.

Shoes: quality, low-rise leather boots or shoes.

Shirt: something informal like flannel or a stripey OCBD.
