I have one of these on my bedroom dresser

Horribly inaccurate and scares the Bejezus out of me every morning so I also have a normal clock on my other night stand.

An cellphone alarm clock is allot cheaper....

I use this called Math Alarm Clock. Makes you do math problems to hit the snooze button. It's ******* annoying and always wakes you up.

I have one of those too, it sounds more like a fire alarm than an alarm clock. One problem with it though, it runs so loudly it is impossible to sleep in the same room as the clock so the alarm is kind of pointless in the first place.

This is for people who just need to be pulled from slumber in some way, not for people who truly suffer in the mornings. We have a more, er, delicate problem -- that of finding something that will wake us up that we won't destroy. I would destroy this, no doubt. ~ H

FTW: Time TM80 Alarm Clock with 4Gb's of MP3's on it in SD Card format. Wake up to a random MP3 every morning. Just wish it had more bass. Maybe I can rig it with a 12" subwoofer somehow.
