I used my iphone but I also stagger their alarms a little bit. i have to cross to opposite ends of the room for each of them. I'm gradually getting used to waking up early though. I find i'm ready for bed at 10:30 or 11 these days.

I'm a morning person, so getting up is not a problem for me. But I hate, I hate to hear an alarm clock. I usually awake minutes before it goes off, but if it goes off, then I'm evil.

I use two alarm clocks just in case. One is my iPhone and the other is my old cellphone, which is now solely used as an alarm clock.

I have a variation on this. It works. It is reliable. The sound is awful for music but it is cheap and if all you need is AM news it's OK.

I would like something that has a better look and sound. The hunt continues......

I've had two versions of it since 2000. Good durability and wakes me up. I never use the radio.

LOL. Me and mornings, on the other hand, have a violent confrontation every day. ~H

Polk Audio IES2. An engineering sample back from my days working there. Not the prettiest thing in the world, but great sound for the small iPod dock that it is.

The Swedish au pair has an alarm clock. When the covers start bobbing up and down, it's time to wake up.

I use the "Sonic Boom" that I picked up a few years ago. It's big and not very attractive, but it makes a God-awful screech and shakes the bed, making it pretty much impossible to sleep through.

BioBrite Sunrise Alarm Clock. Even if I shut off the alarm, the light gradually turns on in 15 minutes; I find that light works better than noise for getting me out of bed.
