I've been trying to find some Allen Edmonds that fit me well, as I have a wide foot and high instep.. the Park Ave seems a little too snug on the top of my foot, although the Fifth Ave fits a little bit better (pretty sure it's the same 5 last), I don't think it's perfect.
I tried on the Alden 907 in 9E (which is the same size I'm trying in AEs), and it fit perfect. Only thing that stopped me from buying them was the price (~$430) compared with ~$250 for AEs through someone on this forum. So, I was wondering what AE last is the closest to the Hampton last which is what the Alden 907 is on.
