I just had to share my elation with someone who can appreciate it, I recently won an Ebay auction for a Ralph Lauren (blue label) 48r, single breasted, two button, navy w/ grey pinstripes, 92% wool 8% cashmere, single pleated and cuffed suit. It appears to have been worn very little, it was already altered to my exact measurments. perfect waist and perfect length on the pants, the sleeves are just about 1/4 inch too long but will have it fixed later, had it pressed and dry cleaned and wore it today and the drape and feel was awesome, fell in all the right places and was super comfortable, I have never actually been comfortable in a suit until today. The best part, I paid $25 for it.Ya, $25 I was the first and only bidder for some reason, the seller seemed a little mad but sorry, he took the chance when he started the auction with no reserve, so thanks for listening to my ramblings

He's got no right to be mad. Sorry, he should be. Never start an auction at a price lower than you would be willing and happy to part with the item for. Good deal though. As for the earlier PM you sent me, no worries. The Boston crew seem a good bunch (have met several of you) and drinks together might be a bit of fun.

The beauty of Ebay. Today I forgot to bid on a brand new Alan Flusser for Saks Fifth Avenue suit, in my size, that I now see sold for just 130 freaking dollars. Retail on it was probably $2,000 or so. Oh well. There'll be another great bargain tomorrow....
