Weymouth color and versatility question

I plan on buying a pair of C&J Weymouth shoes from Ben Silver. I am torn between the tan or the dark brown. I almost always wear navy, medium/light grey, and taupe colored suits. I have nice footwear consisting of several AE models and two pairs of Aldens (one shell pair).

These will be my most expensive pair of shoes and I would like some advice on which shade of color I can get the most out of.

any medium grey or navy will go very well with dark brown.

the dark brown on the weymouth is a very decadent color and is more versatile than the tan counterpart.

although the C&J tan is not too light itself.

both are great colors, if i had to choose only one it would be the dark brown, but that is according to my personal need.

tan or lighter brown can go with navy but it can come across as dandy.

light grey will go well with tan.

the thing is, you can always darken the tan while lightening the dark brown is tricky

Agree on dark brown. Also, you can get the Weymouth for a price less expensive than that featured on Ben Silver. P.Lal and Pediwear come to mind.

The only reason I know of to buy from Ben Silver is to get the tan color, since the dark brown is available from the cheaper sources noted above.
