West of England cloth overcoat, stiff collars, mortarboard

A vintage gentleman's grey wool twill overcoat by well known British outfitter's Dunn and Co., in a classic restrained "Chesterfield" style fly-fronted cut, 3 buttons, solid 3 7/8" lapels, flap pockets and twin inside pockets. Made in Great Britain of mediumweight pure new wool West of England Cloth and in good condition given its possible age, only possible faults a slight yellowing at the fold of the collar and possibly a trace of flattening of nap/rubbing at the front edges - both hardly noticeable except on close inspection. Would serve as a classic everyday coat or for a 1940s re-enactor. Comfortably fits me at a 40" chest but measuring out at 24" across the chest, thus I believe offering fitting potential up to a 46" chest (with jacket underneath? - please check this on a well-fitting coat of your own before) 42" long, 25" outside arms.

£25/35 including carriage (UK/overseas).

I have a selection of vintage detachable collars for sale, this batch circa 16" and 16 1/2", for wear with 15 1/2" neckband and 16" neckband shirts respectively, details as below:

2x 16" rounded-point detachable turndown collars, marked "HARLEY made in Switzerland 16" and "H. Fisher, Shirtmaker 255, Regent Street London W.1."
These are near mint (just some slight yelllowing of the starch due to age).
£5 each.

1 tightish 16" (actually measures 15 7/8") blue (looks like pinpoint) starched straight point detachable turndown, cleaned and lightly starched but not polished. £3.00.

1 2" high 16" New Dress wing collar, marked GTS(?) 93, 94, 95 Strand, and Owl Brand, also owners' name. Wear to inside at one point which has slight affected quality of starching. Clean and medium-well starched. (2" is quite a rare height - 1 3/4" is more usual) £5.

1 16 x 1 3/4" Rocola Chiltern "Horse Shoe Quality" stiff wing collar, clean and medium-well starched, one mark to underside of collar. A handsome collar. £4.

1 Van Heusen style 99 "Semi-stiff" soft turndown pointed collar. Several laundry marks and much wear to upper side of collar. £1 or free with any of the above.

1 vintage (1930s?) size 16 1/2" Rocola "Chiltern" wing collar, 1 3/4" high (newly starched) - £4

1 Horne Bros. "Suprema" wing collar, 1 3/4" high (newly starched) - also £4

and another "Suprema", ditto, but washed, needs starching) - £2.50

1 curious "double round" turndown day collar, straight rather than rounded points, stiffish but a bit sorry for itself. - £4

Postage for any number of the above would be £1.50 within the UK, £3 to the rest of the world. Please note that I can accept paymetn in USD via Paypal.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, requests for pictures, etc.

A vintage hard-skulled black cloth Gray's of Durham graduation cap/ mortarboard (1950s/1960s vintage) in very good condition, to fit approximate head size 6 1/2 (UK) (so perhaps most suitable for a lady?); £10 including postage worldwide. Please contact me for measurements/photographs.
