Former Miami resident, right here. Let me know what kind of stuff you like to do, this city has something for everyone.

Now of course I'm stuck here in freezing Annapolis, but its not my choice

Good old 80s- you shouldn't have a problem finding that in Miami trust me

First of all it is a must that you spend at least one night cruising down South Beach, 5 nights could get expensive but it's something everyone should experience!
As for the clubs, there are a ton of live places in Miami especially in the Ocean Drive/Collins Avenue area. I would personally recommend Les Deux Fontaines in the Hotel Ocean on Ocean Drive just past 12th Street. It's a lobstar bar and they always have a live jazz band every night, it's a little expensive though but worth it. The Bolero Bar & Grill on Washington Avenue is pretty good too.
There's a lot more, just search for Miami Clubs and there is a huge list. Those are the only two I have actually been to though.

I forgot other stuff to do in Miami in my last post, sorry about that. Obviously there is the beach, is there anything else you are specifically into?
