1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Callous AND naive? Interesting. Unlike "pussy" and "coward" those would seem to be antonyms, not synonyms.

Easy: Run a retail store, open at midnight on Black Friday, and when the employees complain - sack them all and replace them with happy people. Truly happy people won't bitch just because they can't enjoy the holiday with their families.

(Actually, kind of dealing with this myself...)

This is desperate hate. The kind an inmate screams at a prison guard. I like your venomous hate much more.

Man is unhappy by choice, not by circumstance.

One can be getting a BJ by the hottest woman in his gold plated Bugatti and still be unhappy enough to contemplate suicide

as long as politicians are making what they are, we are boned. Put 'em ALL on minimum wage and see what happens.

Why are we boned due to the salaries of politicians?

What would happen is elected official would be asking "do you want fries with that legislation". Most democracies have too many politicians but they certainly aren't overpaid. I'd suggest drastically reducing the number of legislators, drastically increasing their pay and putting meaningful well enforced caps on campaign contributions would be a better idea than putting them on minimum wage. It might lead to very talented people being drawn to politics without undue influence from vested interest groups.

You believe it, the only thing more impressive than my political nous is the size of my member.
