Have you guys ever thought about the unintended consequences of using the word porn in our shoe threads?

I can only imagine a poor SOB with a knack for feet googling and reaching down under as he runs through a host of websites only to zero in on ours to find a thread devoted to rugs and high end footwear.

Talk about a let down.....as least for anyone but Andrew, Zach, and VR.

Then again, maybe thats how they found us in the first place.....[IMG]

Worried the NSA's watching you, Bill? Seriously, I've actually worried about this a fair bit when browsing from work. Same for reading Girls Are Pretty.

    Bill, I love it!

Perhaps our site will upgrade the perverts from sniffing Nikes and Adidas, to John Lobb, EG, and bespoke fitters.

Funny I was thinking about the same thing. They must have thought John Lobb and Edward Green were some kind of porn stars, I mean with measurement like 12 1/4" X 4 1/2" they got to be [IMG] .

I wouldn't be surprised if at one point or another this forum was monitored by various police departments, the Fed and Interpol only to discover it was bunch of guys snapping pictures of their highend footwear on area rugs.

I imagine we do get some traffic from foot and Japanese fetishists. The former probably stick around.

With terms like "belted," "waist supression," "cuffed," and so on, we might be getting some of the rough trade crowd.

Yeah - if the porn threads trigger our firewall at my work, I'm going to be in trouble. Can't really explain to the IT department why I need them to make a special exception for a men's fashion site. Maybe we should come up with another term to use.
