Wedding question (ties)

Hello gents, long time listener, first time caller.

I am getting married in march in a pretty laid back ceremony, and I and the groomsmen will all be wearing charcoal grey SB 2button suits. The bridesmaids will be wearing simple black satin dresses. The color scheme for the wedding is black, red, and white. My question is, what kind of ties should I and the groomsmen wear? Black (satin, patterned, knit)? Red (striped, foulard, paisley)? something else?

I am obliged to any of your opinions

It depends on the time of day, and the formality of the bride/ bridesmaids dresses and setting. That info will give us a better idea of how to advise you.

its an afternoon wedding in a church, with low formality. the bride is not wearing a "wedding dress," just a nice ivory cocktail dress she got from macy's. the bridesmaids are wearing simple black strapless satin dresses, tea length. attached are some photos that may help you visualize what they are wearing.

I think a silver tie with a subtle black pattern (like hounds tooth) or black stripes will look very elegant with your gray suits and a white shirt.

The silver/black combination also looks good in photos. Sometimes reds can vary in photos due to lighting and begin to look orange.

Maybe a solid silver for the groom and a pattern for the other men? And smarten it up a bit with a nice, straight-fold pocket square.
