Wedding - Navy Suit - What to wear with it

EDIT: All pictures below are clickable.
I'd like some advice on ties, pocket squares (and maybe socks) to wear to a wedding I have this weekend.

I am going to a wedding this weekend and I'll be wearing this suit:

I know it isn't good quality, but I bought it because it fits decently and I didn't want to rush the purchase of my first decent suit in the $500+ range.

I will be wearing some medium to dark brown shoes and a similar belt with them.
I am considering wearing one of the following three shirts (they are all TM Lewin Fully Fitted shirts that I own).

I am thinking about ordering a tie and pocket square from the tiebar. Again, I realize we aren't talking great quality stuff here, but I think it's still possible to look sharp if the correct combination is chosen. I have my eye on the slim tie offerings: I realize this is a very trendy look, but I think it is a good trendy look that I can afford to go for at the $15 price point.

Some background info on me:
I'm in my mid 20s and I'm tall and slim/lanky. Here are my measurements:
Neck: 16.5"
Sleeve: 36"
Chest: 41" - 42"
Waist: 34" - 35"
Inseam: 32" - 33"

Any suggestions are helpful! Thanks

Plain white shirt, spread collar, french cuffs. Wedding tie--grey shepherd's check, for example. Cream silk square, or folded white linen. Button carnation.

Black shoes, not brown. It's your wedding, not a day at the office.

Thanks for the pointers! In case it's relevant, here's some info about the wedding itself.

When is the wedding?
3:00

Do you have a role in it?
Nope

Who's getting married?
Two of my friends: both mid twenties.

Where?
In a church and the reception is in a relative's back yard who has a phenomenal piece of property right on a big lake. There will be a tent, etc.

Big formal wedding, or small informal wedding?
Medium size semi-formal (I'm in a small middle class dominated suburban & rural area, so semi-formal is really probably closer to informal.)

Are you going with anyone, and if so, whom?
Flying solo! (they didn't allow dates :( )

Oh. It's not YOUR wedding.

Then you have more latitude, but I would still wear what I suggest.

Sounds good. I imagine if I grab a spread collar I'll need to tie a windsor (or at least a half windsor) to appropriately fill the collar opening (especially if the tie itself is on the thin side). Any advice on which way to fold the PS?

The navy suit is a nice choice given that it's not your wedding but good friends of yours, a patterned tie, striped one would be a subtle addition to your suit. You never want to look overdressed than the the groom.

If you just get a moderate spread, you can still use a four-in-hand knot. In fact, you should.

+1 except the Button carnation. That might be over doing it a little especially if its not your own wedding.

Oh, definitely agreed. I retract the carnation suggestion. No flower.
