My cousin is getting married this friday and I need to get something conjured up to wear.
Lot of my dressy stuff is newly acquired and unaltered so I don't have time for that right now.

(I have other items like ck and kenneth cole but not interested in wearing that).

Only 2 items that I have that I can use immediately are a RRL charcoal pinstripe blazer (with the western yolk on back bought from here) and
A pair of dolce gabanna charcoal solid flat front slim tapered pants.

The two charcoals are very similar if not different in textures. The blazer is very nicel (caruso silhouette and the western style yoke is tasteful and not out there

Would it be terrible to wear these two together? Let say with a blue dress shirt ?

I wouldn't wear pin striped blazer with solid pants, just like I wouldn't wear pinstripe pants by itself.

why don't you just go without the blazer , just a nice shirt and the pants since its summer time

How do you have 3 years and 13,000 posts here, but not one nice suit?

Haven't you been buying up the entire stock of glen plaid in the US?

3 years but I'm sort of a nomad around here. Just recently got into the foray of fine clothing.

Before this was strictly jeans.

( I do have a mani suit (has a moth hole), a 44r emporio suit, sick of wearing it, and a couple of jack victor coats that I sold).

And beefy, succulent shoes.
