I just got a titanium band, with a brushed center and polished lip. It is holding up well and is almost indestructable. Also it was inexpensive, so I got 2, one for winter and one for summer. With the money I saved, I just got my wife more of the diamonds she wanted.

After losing two to the Atlantic, my wife and I went to Na Hoku on Long Island and I ended up with this sapphire and diamond beauty.

Sorry for the blurry phone pic.

I used to want a tungsten band, but something caught my eye one day. It was a middle aged guy who must have had his ring for 20 years. It was yellow gold and beat to ****. All the nicks and scratches gave his ring this awesome patina. I changed my mind real quick. It might have been a little more expensive, but I definitely look forward to watching my band age for the rest of my life.

this is exactly the type of thing i'm looking for. leaning towards 18K gold band 4-5mm. will look around for a local jeweler. should be pretty easy and inexpensive to find.

My wife and I had both of our rings made by Konzuk. Mine is this one, but made in paladium and steel instead of silver and steel. And hers is this one, but in white gold instead of steel and with a larger Canadian diamond. It was both her engagement and wedding ring.

Tungsten is cool. Was giong to get hone, but FYI I heard you can't stretch it out. So make sure you get the right size for your ring. I went /w 19K white gold. Will post my band when i get a chance.
