Wearing trousers on your waist

I have been wanting to wear my suit and odd trousers higher up on my waist for some time now but I am finding it difficult to do so. Aside from the fact that nobody sells high waisted trousrs anymore, getting them to stay up without falling back down to my hips seems impossible. I know the solution is suspenders (braces) but I don't want to go there. I am aware of all the benefits of braces over belts but I am not willing to make that jump quite yet. I see pictures of men with high waisted trousers who are not wearing braces and I can't figure out how they do it. What is the secret here?

Search but I would agree that you are not ready for braces.

You cannot have it both ways,

mother nature designed us for trousers. those corners on top at each side of the hips are there for a purpose.
TO HANG YOUR BRITCHES ON THAT'S WHAT..
if the trousers are above the hip bone and fitted to the waist they will never fall down.
so there too!

A good general rule of thumb is to go no lower then 1/2 inch below th ebelly button, I strive for this daily and find that braces are good for helping this to be so.
