Wearing ties with polos...

i recently saw that in the s/s bergdorf goodman catalogue. didnt really like the look. i think it was his entire outfit though. it could probably have been done a bit better. i think it might look... ok... in an experimetal teenager type way. take that comment as you will

thats not bad, i would actually do that. i dont expect forum members here to agree though. members here seem to be a bit more classically styled.

are you sure you aren't refering to the RL rugby look with a dress shirt and tie underneath a polo shirt or rugby shirt? I have mixed feelings about that look, I think some people can pull it off.

I've seen ties worn with polos several times but it's never looked good to me.

GOOD GOD! If you're gonna wear one with a polo, you better make sure it's a seven-fold, and only tie with a full windsor!

was that a serious reply? i would really do an ascot too! why not be creative. the bolo however shouldnt be an option... in any circumstance.
