Wearing MOP cufflinks

Are you meant to wear the MOP showing on the outside of the cuff, or the inside?

I think so too, however I plan to wear these to work and was wondering if MOP on the outside of the cuff was too formal and more suitable for evening wear.

Nope, not too formal. Just depends on your mood.

It looks to me like the silver part is a "fancy backing" and the MOP is designed to be worn out.

On a white shirt, MOP would not look super formal.
