I have the same problem with the sockless approach unfortunately, even with the no-show socks there is too much perspiration and it is uncomfortable. precisely for this reason, I guess, I have discovered Bresciani linen OTC socks, and I concur, the are awesome for the summer.

I have however been considering lately that an extra layer of fabric of the OTC sock is something which can be discarded during the summer to add an extra touch of coolness. I am therefore interested in standard length linen socks - any particular blend carry them?
Not sure. I trashed all my standard length dress socks a long time ago. Only wear OTC. The only downside to me is that they stick to tapered pants legs.

Seersucker suits in two and three piece in different colors works wonders with we southern folk.....good for the courthouse and the club afterwards....linen works but a bit higher maintenance costs....73s

Honest question that I was contemplating while in Italy a month ago for the summer 80 deg + suit wearers : how often do you clean your suits and/or how do you keep them fresh?

What's the issue? I enjoy wearing a suit at any time of year. As an example, here's a picture of a couple of guys in Florence recently, wearing suits in 90 degree warmth...

It's true that the guy on the left looks considerably cooler than the guy on the right, but that's the risk you take standing next to Guillaume.
The suede tie ups don’t help 🔥

I always dry clean the summer suits at the end of the season. I also hang up the jacket in our entryway when I get home to let it air out a bit before putting it in the closet.

Has anyone here experience in removing lining? Im a pure breed scandinavian and have a hard time wearing suits even at normal room temperatures. I think I would get a lot more wear of my suites without their lining.

You would need to have a tailor perform that function. The inside seams would have to be cleaned up. Might not be worth the expense.

Thank you for your response! I wouldn't myself do any alterations. Are we talking substantial alterations for a tailor? If we are talking 50 euro and it would not risk the integrity of the suit jacket I would do it to at least 2-3 of my suits.

I would ask in this forum as many folks more knowledgeable than me (including professional tailors) post here:

Does this really get rid of any smell after a day's wear?
Let's it dry in the open. No smells that I can discern. I hang the pants up in my bedroom then put them both back in the closet at night. Seems to work.
