Wearing a vest to a semi-dressy wedding

I'm going to my sister's wedding and I'm wearing an indigo vest and tie that I ordered online. It fit right, but the back of the vest is black (instead of indigo like the rest of the vest.). Should I wear a jacket over the vest to hide the black part, or is no jacket fine? She said the wedding is "semi-dressy".

Also, don't wear a matching vest and tie...find a tie that contrasts the color of the vest. With a matchy-matchy vest and tie combo, you'll look like a groomsman wearing a cheap rented tux - only you lost the jacket.

The back of the vest is a essentially just lining, because its not meant to be seen.

You should post pictures of the vest and tie.
