Hahaha, I saw these earlier and I definitely thought to myself that they called each other up the night before to remind everybody to wear their conservative Goldman Sachs uniforms.

This thread is meaningless without a look at their shoes.

Considering that Goldman gave Obama nearyly $1M in donations, they are probably thinking about whether they should have given more, or whether they should demand a refund.

Still, I bet they took the train to get to DC instead of a private lear jet like the GM execs did.

I think they did pretty well as a whole. Decent dark suits that fit well enough, everyone in conservative ties, everyone in white shirts.

This is a matter of opinion (of course), but the thing that stood out to me was the button-down collar on the guy at the end of the table. I know politicians commonly sport button-downs, but being called as a witness and accessory to fraud is absolutely one of the last situations I would wear one.

Somebody please photoshop either Holdfast, ManofKent, or olddog/oldtrix next to them. Could you imagine if one of them stood out like that?

This is where Lehman is missed. Dick Fuld would have at least had them put hankies into bespoke suits...or else.

Then, it would be off to a mandatory hike in the woods and Lehman weiny roast sing-a-long.

I have a feeling most Americans would view a button-down collar as "less high-falutin'."

Dee Snider did it best at the PMRC hearings back in 1985.

Cut-off jean jacket, wild hair and a FTW attitude.

I view it as that as well. Button down collars make my stomach hurt. Makes sense why politicians wear them frequently
