Didn't stop at all, not even after hitting me. I fell into a snow bank, which probably saved my skull. Had a horrible concussion, cuts and bruises on skull, knees, and all over and had to be taken to the hospital. I think body armor saved my life. Wifey (then fiancÃ[IMG]e) freaked out cause I went out to get some groceries and didn't come back.

Unfortunately, I never caught her license plate. Woman was on the phone too. Hopefully, she didn't procreate, but that's probably not the case. [IMG]

That would have made a helluva WAYWRN post! Unbelievable that she wouldn't stop. Just. Unbelievable.

Good reminder to ATGATT - better to sweat than bleed!

I used to have a GSX 650 that I crashed this past year, so I've looking to buy a (used) Ninja 650R Sport. Stupid SUV-driving soccer moms who drive through 4 way stops without caring for the motorcycles! [IMG]

Plus, you don't get a lot of riding time in a city like Boston, especially since I'm out traveling during the week.

As far as dogs go, my wife and I have a Shepherd/Newfie mix -- we were told she was a Shepherd/Lab mix, but when she hit 100 lb in about 10 months, we figured something was up. Right now, at a little more than 14 months, she's about 140 lb and growing. The other dog is an American Eskimo/Husky mix. She's not as big, probably around 70 lb maybe? Thankfully, we don't think she's getting any bigger.

One thing, though -- both are long haired (one black, one white), and I spend a good amount on lint brushes. [IMG]

I'm assuming you meant of the dogs, since I don't really have any pictures of the motorcycle accident.
Here's the black one -- she's the shepherd/newfie mix. The first one is from when she was was about 7 months old, and the rest are relatively recent (around a year old). [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] I do not really have any recent pictures of the white one -- the eskie/huskie mix -- other than as a puppy (since she's my wife's dog...). The winter pictures are from last winter. We were told she was about 7 weeks in these pictures, that was when we first got her. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Just so everybody's clear... This thread is MY attempt to summarize the WAYWRN thread a week at a time. What goes in is whatever strikes my fancy. BUT, it's mostly about the home runs. WAYWRN contains a lot of strikeouts, singles, and doubles (to continue with the baseball metaphor) and they don't/won't generally make the cut. The great and semi-great fits will get a shout-out as will the truly atrocious (sometimes) and the interesting diversions.

The point is this: If some guy shows up a lot it's because his fits and pics are homeruns. I accept no remuneration and play no favorites. (But, while we're on the topic... Spoo, would it kill you to send me a spare PS once and a while? Huh? Would it?)

Thanks for the thanks, guys, but thanks even more for taking the time to post your shit for the world to see. Some of you guys who regularly partake in the WAYWRN kegger -- the guilty know who I mean here -- must have nuts the size of grapefruit.
I believe that they do have such distended appendages, but they take drugs to counteract the effects - it adversely affects the fit and drape of flat-front trousers. [IMG]

Thanks, Spoo. I'm still having fun doing this. It's sometimes hard to NOT include some of you guys EVERY day. There are four or five of you who are consistently on top of the SF dog-pile.

Best thread I have ever read. Many thank you's and well done Fred.

My mind is popping up with all sorts of themes, movies, seasons, locations, etc with this concept. I thought I caught a reference to Fringe on the parallel universe award with upr_crust . . . or was it all in my mind?

Excellent idea, keep up the GREAT work!
