thanks AJV. some other member pointed out that this the tassels look better in spring but I think that has more to do with the pants than the shoe. I wore the same exact tassels with wool flannel trousers and it looks 100% fall

this last reminds me of certain aldo shoes, the ones with square toe, that are much hated on this forum. i wonder how many people would be quick to blast this shoe if you didnt mention it was g&g

Iroh, you make a very keen observation. This particular last is a shape that not everybody can love. And it does look particularly odd in pics taken from straight on above.

Here are two pics from anothoer poster of the same shoe. As you can see it's not as wonky from this perspective at all. Yes there is still a squarish toe, and some will not like that - but I think they are beautiful.
