Wouldn't conservative business peacocking just go in the regular wawyt thread?

These stylistic subgroups are like a hydra, gotta keep them in check.

    How about casual peacocking?
Me and my new father-in-law dispaying our respective ethnic pride via shirts!

Why do your suit jackets look like you've just stepped out of a David Byrne-in the 80's montage? What's with all the shoulder bulk?

Bris, where are you to moderate this thread? If any thread needs reigning in, its this one. Theres a very fine line between pea cocking and straight up raw fluorescent lit mistakes and bad taste. Lets be careful whats posted here to show that real pea cocking can look good, but not ultra tacky. Learn from my mistakes I posted on the first page.

Oh well you have done what few would have tried in that last pose. [IMG] You somehow matched the tie to the edge of the PS to that little sliver of argyle popping out.

Well the OP has said that there is to be no criticism in this thread:

I think 'critique' is perfectly valid, because the forum is about improving the way we dress, surely? What isn't worthwhile, and what I hope the OP was referring to, are dismissive and rude personal criticisms that aren't aimed at improvement at all.

It's possible that you're right, but I've basically held off on any specific or larger critical comments based on his suggestion. I do agree with Spoo's post.
