This goes way beyond pink jeans, or anything I've seen here. The pants and jacket might work better as separate items. I was thinking with a black turtleneck and black shoes. Strictly for art gallery events, Jackson Pollack exhibits, and dances (I could also lie below a bunch of pigeons and scream for mercy). To make thing worse, its velvet.

I personally think it's an excellent piece to have in one's collection. The velvet vs acrylic will create an interesting texture contrast which also plays with the light/dark especially considering the lapel flower and how it pops. My guess is that the only really difficult part about pulling something like that off is in finding a tie appropriate enough to take center stage.

Ok, I'm a single guy in a lonely city, and I'm on match.com. So match.com has been organizing some get togethers for us desperate singles \. I said something to some girl on the last one and received the following message from match.com. "We were recently made aware that you exhibited inappropriate behavior at one of the [link removed] Stir Events. If this type of behavior continues, we may terminate your [link removed] membership. If your behavior violates our Terms of Use, you will not be entitled to a refund of any unused membership fees." No idea what that was. Anyhow, just returned from another one of their events, and I think this qualifies as "WAYWRN peacock". Bookster Ledberry cap, Hermes shirt, Harley-Davidson vest, RRL jeans, and Moreschi spectator shoes. Worked great, both at the Press club event (shown), and the Bart ride home.

I know there is a strong feeling against brand names on clothes, but I make this the exception.

Were you wearing the bleached velvet ensemble when you allegedly engaged in the allegedly inappropriate behavior?

It was one of the less well-known of those late 1960s science fiction apocalypse films...

"In the distant future, he's a single man in a lonely city... with only the random contents of vacant designer clothing emporia to sustain him. Can he survive and reunite the people under the flag of Hermes? Starring Charlton Heston as 'PTWilliams' and country star, Emmylou Harris, as 'the lady...'"

Harley branded clothing is a bit sad at best (white-collar weekend warrior rider) but if you don't own a Harley (and/or combine it with non biker items like spectators) it goes from sad to desperate.

I think a lot of people like your fearless contributions to SF for their avant garde (or comedy) value, but sometimes you just step waaaay over the line of what could by any measure be considered 'good'. This is one of those times. I prefer your more subdued pics.
