1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

IST66 brings it. Can't get with all of the outfits but some of it is raw heat. This thread is a great way to identify talent outside of the usual suspects.

Good thread. Most guys are bespoke if not at least MTM clients, which helps.

I would build a Frankenstein for this thread: (Brain) Clothing acumen of Wil (ASW); (Skin) Clothing of KitonBrioni; (Heart) Coordination of IST66; (Blood) Sensibility of PhatG; (Breath) Nonchalant dress attitude of Ed Morel.

I look like this most days for my occupation:

Seems like someone's been quite inspired by Jarvis Cocker.

Pretty sure it's just that they're pulling from the same roots.

LK is awesome. I feel like he'd fit in fine in a Wes Anderson movie.

Just a bit of clarification as there seems to be some confusion over the intent of this thread.

This thread is in reaction to the sentiment that the current WAYWRN thread has declined in quality. The point is to show the quality of posters we had in the years past and how those posters were influential in terms of the examples they provided regarding fit, colour, combinations, etc. These posters, for the most part, no longer post in the current WAYWRN thread and as such, their outfits were not available for current and new posters to learn.

What it's not meant to be is a thread where you post pictures of CURRENT posters who you may find inspirational. Those pictures can be found in the current WAYWRN thread.
