1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

People have definitely been more liberal with their thumbs as of late.

:nodding: i noticed the same :nodding:

and still, there seems to still be a distinction between fits that get 15-18 and those that hit 20. i have not been seeing many with 19, i guess once that happens some kind soul gives a nudge.

Stopped halfway through the CBD challenge here. I'll probably go through it again next week. There were a few fits that weren't at 20 yet, but as they were only posted yesterday, may get there later.

Another quality batch. We could rename this thread "Pingson's Primer in Soporific Dressing"

All lists are a bit silly. But the 20 thumb idea is self-curating which means that anybody can contribute cross posts from the main thread. Obviously some great ones are left out, and a few odd ones get included (Pingson actually asked that one of his fits be removed as it...well...wasn't good...though it was for a Friday challenge)

Anyway, I'll post your five in a separate thread after I finish asking folks and compiling their preferences.

Disagree! While this list is not perfect, it's still a great compilation! Junge! [IMG]

I haven't seen any really shitty outfits in this thread. Really shitty is a completely different thing. There are some fits that are just "decent" though (I may or may not be among those myself).

I do agree however, that there are great ones that are overlooked. Sometimes there are new posters that are on a very high level from the start but doesn't get much love, mainly because they're new.

Agree. I've had to stop myself from posting a few sub 20 fits that I really liked.

As far as new members, I believe that last batch has two...so it seems like we may be a welcoming bunch.

quite clear that the clapster likes the gray, but a pretty nice top 5 indeed.

i understand the criticism of the 20 like criterion, but its the most objective (not that the likes themselves are objective, rather the method) way of differentiating as far as i see it. sure there are fits here with 20 likes that are not great, some of mine included, but for the most part, its a very solid compendium, and if clags wants to include some that did not hit 20 but he deems excellent, i shall not argue.

Yes, but they pretty much appeal to the SF audience by adhering to already established criteria for what makes up a good outfit (plus the quality of the pictures were great). Robs89 caught some critique due to more youthful fit (i.e. tighter & shorter than SF average), but all the other elements were SF darlings (flannel pants, blue SC, brown tie et c). It was quite another story when, for example, Tira started posting IIRC. It took some time for everyone to warm to his pretty unique (but brilliant) set of aesthetics.

Shit. Two of those were overlooked by me. One I just hadn't gotten to. Anyway. My error absolutely calls for your shameless plug. [IMG]

Of the three, I like the middle the most.
