1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Actually, I like this shot. Photochop out the crapper and you've got a reflective (at least I imagine it that way, without being able to see his face), semi-dynamic (he's not standing up/slouching in doorway) winner. Maybe chop in a scooter or trike? Or are we past that now? Perhaps just a stone pedestal, a la The Thinker (The Crapper?)

Perhaps - all I know is that that which is seen cannot be unseen, so maybe discretion in this matter is better.

What? You mean that, as I continuously select these for the near future, I'm not ever allowed to like my own fit the most? That would be dishonest. How could anybody trust me if I wasn't willing to consider my own fits.

EFV putting together a fit I'd never think of (will try it next week) and Claghorn killing it.

What are the fabrics of the jacket and trousers, EFV?

Where'd you get that burgundy tie, Clags, if you dot mind me asking?

Cheers! The jacket is linen and the pants are cotton duck canvas.

thanks, mang. i was really happy with that fit. tbh, when i ordered the tie, i was worried how well it would work with my SCs and suits, as i am with most striped ties i order, but i have laid it up against a bunch of things, and i think it will get a lot of wear. i should have listened to you about striped ties a long time ago.

congrats to HF on the hat trick!!!! :slayer:

Chill, Clags - I've already explained that I just threw the suit on for some pictures, and didn't change the tie from what I had worn earlier that day. Cheez Louise, you lot HATE yellow ties! I promise not to wear a yellow tie with that suit when I wear it for real (which won't be until the weather cools off - it's a fall weight suit).

I know, I know. It was for posterity's sake. Imagine what the children would think if they saw that in 200 years! It will make them question all those Stalinesque statues of you that will soon be popping up around New York state (you know, after the revolution)

    (I wouldn't have spoilered/commented had I not known it wasn't really a fit picture)
