First time posting here after having spent a year or so in the advice forum getting the hang of matching textures, colours etc. Be gentle with me.

The weather in NYC is overcast but mild, and the weekend is starting with dinner and a movie, so a suit seemed a bit much. As it's St. Patrick's Day, I thought that I'd play along with the green theme, though perhaps not in the prescribed Kelly green shade . . .

I don’t do cord myself Crusty but this jacket looks like a great example of cord done well - and nicely sidesteps the old cliche of looking like a history professor!

No gentleness needed. The combination of a slightly unusual, muted, color palette with the prominent, rich, textures is felicitous to my eye.

I was not chosen but have done my civic duty for at least another year.
It is freezing in the court house.
Hard to see but wool/cotton herringbone pants and wool sweater hoodie with waffle texture.
Magnanni monk strap shoes.

I'd suggest trying a "puff" fold -- see what you think of it.
