What's the general consensus on S&M dress shirts? Are they a solid value?

Been very happy with pretty much all of mine, the very first ones did feel a little “cheap” in terms of fabric quality compared to the higher end of shirts I own, but got better over time. The only real critique I still have is I find the OCBD’s a little stiffer than I like. But overall great value.

Personally, I would spend a little bit more and get Kamakura, especially after getting the right fit.

Cool, I just ordered one of the extra slim Chambray shirts and was wondering what to expect

I have a bunch. Wearing a poplin right now. Haven't found a better fit combined with collar preference anywhere else. That said, I don't pay over $60 for a shirt. I can't see needing anything else in terms of quality.

In my opinion yes, very solid. Have a bunch from them: poplin, twill, brushed cotton, denim - all very good quality for the money. The fit is great also.
Thanks all, looks like I made a good call trying one out

If you find your fit, I think you won't be disappointed with the quality. Especially when buying them on sale. I have shirts from Kiton, Isaia, Barba, Borrelli, Charvet... but still, wear S&M shirts often and gladly )

I attended my best friend's wedding this past weekend and wore this outfit to the rehearsal dinner. Almost everyone had on navy blazers and gray slacks but I did encounter one or two other gentlemen who had on brown sport coats. I ended up having a robust conversation with one of them about the versatility of brown as a color. The fact that I had so much navy in my outfit made me unintentionally coordinated with the rest of the crowd.
