Kudos to you for carrying the banner for turtlenecks in your recent posts. It is such a flattering, elegant, garment in framing the face, extending the line, and masking any neck deficiencies. I don't really understand why it fell out of fashion, and got associated with the preening, unctuous, academic/writer stereotype.
