Lol. I did the same thing once on the LIRR. I thought I was the only idiot who did that. ? I guess not. The armrest pretty much went inside my pocket. When I stood up all I heard was RIP. And R.I.P. my pants.

Great outfit but that seems like a daring choice of pants for such a trip :D
True. Not the smartest, but I took side roads to avoid traffic and went slow. I do have two pairs of SAINT pants that are virtually indestructible. Fell at 45mph and slid for about 50ft and walked away without a scratch.
