A cozy, tonal outfit. This weekend I decided to experiment in creating a tonal look by playing off the primary color of the chore coat and using different shades of brown.
Scarf with a rollneck, it's not too much?
What do you think?
The texture colors are selected perfectly.

It could be a bit much. I was unsure, but decided to go with the scarf for two reasons.

The first was utilitarian since the rollneck is rather thin and I didn’t have any outerwear. The second was to bring together the outfit. I believe that if you remove the scarf, then you might lose some of the harmony.

What are your thoughts?

I like the scarf, but not the colour. It doesn't really tie in the deeper brown of the jacket to the rest - the effect of corduroy or suede being that the shades come out more richly. Something like a rust brown might have worked better, in my opinion.
