Hello again and I hope everyone is well. I wanted to share a photo from another delightful Sunday brunch. Given the rough and tumble heat (115F!) I shelved the jeans and cowboy boots in favor of linen and huaraches.

I typically do not like t-shirt and sport coat combos, but this works for me. I think it's because there is very little contrast between the shirt and trousers. Well done.

Thank you and agreed, this is me sticking my big toe in the water to check the temperature. Thanks for the observation. Will likely keep that in mind in the future. Maybe a low contrast shirt/jacket combo might work as well - say, navy on navy.

@UrbanComposition I really like those Scott Fraser polos but they seem pretty short, has that been an issue?
You didn’t ask me, but... If he took his hands out of his pockets and buttoned all the buttons, it appears the shirt would end near the middle of his pant/short rise. I think that is a good length for a polo. How long do you like yours?

Earlier in the week I had to drop into my Solicitor, so made a bit of an effort. This is my only 3r2 jacket. It's by Gurteen in a nice light linen blend and part-lined. Plain back.

CT shirt // TM Lewin PS // Jasper Conran trousers (one of two pairs from a suit) // Boss suede loafers // Alvaro pouch

If only my clients would dress up just to come see me. Of course, all my meetings nowadays are via Zoom, but still...
